
Dr. Marie Anderson
Dr. Marie Anderson grew up in Warrenton, VA where she graduated from Fauquier High School. She received a B.S. in dental hygiene from the Medical College of Virginia. After attending George Mason University briefly, she attended Georgetown University School of Medicine, where she received her MD in 1989, completing her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at George Washington University in 1993. She received her board certification in 1995, and became a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996.
She currently practices at the Tepeyac Family Center, where she joined Dr. John Bruchalski in 1997. She has affiliations with the Couple to Couple League and is active on the Bioethics Committee at Fair Oaks Hospital where she practices. She founded the Kristen Anderson Perinatal Hospice Center as part of Tepeyac in 2004. She is a popular speaker in the Washington area having appeared on local television and at local schools, colleges, and universities where she has spoken about pertinent medical issues as they relate to life.
Dr. Anderson is married to Dr. David Anderson, a periodontist. They have two living children; David Jr. and Karl. Their daughter, Kristen, is deceased. They live in Burke, Virginia and are members of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
